DAY 01 BANGALORE
Arrival at Bangalore. Meet and assist at the Airport by GITC representative and transfer to hotel for 02 nights

Bangalore often referred, as the ‘Garden City’ is known for it’s beautifully laid out parks and gardens, wide tree lined avenues and imposing buildings. The main attractions are Vidhana Soudha building – which houses both the State Legislature and the Secretariat; Cubbon Park and Museums, Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Tipu Sultan’s Palace and Bull temple. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 02 BANGALORE
Breakfast. Later visit the Ashram of Sai Baba in White Field. Visit the College and other institution in White Field.

If you are interested in doing a sight seeing of Bangalore, you can go for the tour in the afternoon. Or else be in the Ashram till evening.
Half-day sightseeing tour of Bangalore.

Tour starts with Vidhana Soudha – this stately granite structure houses the Karnataka Legislature and Govt. Secretariat. The influence of Hoysala architecture can be seen in this four-storeyed building, erected in 1956. Take a stroll to see Cubbon Park. Visit Tippu’s Palace which was the summer resident of Tippu Sultan. Built of wood, it resembles the Daria Daulatbagh in Sriringapatn near Mysore. Later visit Bull Temple situated on Bugle Hill, which is Bangalore’s oldest temple. There is a monolithic figure of a bull here carved out of rock, 15 ft. high and 20 ft. long.

DAY 03 BANGALORE - PUTTAPARTHY
Breakfast. Checkout and drive to Puttaparthy.

En route visit Le Pakshi - famous for the Temple built in Vijaynagar style and dedicated to Lord Shiva and shrine Dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Puttaparthy, a small village in Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh, is today on the world map. And the person responsible for it is ‘Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba’ considered as a living God by millions. Praasanthi Nilayam (Abode of Peace) is an imposing edifice at Puttaparthy built by the devotees in reverence to the living God at his birthplace. People seeking peace of mind and solace make a beeline to this village from all over the world. Check in hotel for 02 nights.

DAY 04 PUTTAPARTHY

DAY 05 PUTTAPARTHY - TIRUPATHI
Breakfast. Checkout and drive to Tirupathi.

Tirupati is 67 km away from Chittoor in Chittoor district, the southern portion of Andhra Pradesh. Tirupati is one of the most visited pilgrimages in India famous for Sri Venkateshwara temple. The shrine is situated on a hill at Tirumala, a cluster of seven hills known as Seshachalam or Venkatachalam with a height of 853 m (2,800 ft.) above the sea level. This temple is considered as the richest temple in the world, with a vibrant cultural and philanthropic institution and a grand history spanning several centuries. It attracts pilgrims from all over the country who wait for hours together to get a glimpse of the presiding deity. Check in at hotel for 02 nights.

DAY 06 TIRUPATHI

Breakfast. Visit to Sri Venkateshwara temple.
Later vist Sila Thoranam, Alamelumanga Temple, Narayanavanam, Kapilatirtham that are the other nearby spots that feature on the pilgrim’s map as well.

DAY 07 TIRUPATHI – CHENNAI

Breakfast. Check out and drive to Chennai.
Chennai, the gracious capital city of Tamil Nadu is the 4th largest metropolis in India. Located on a 17 km stretch of the Coramandel coast, the city is trisected by the waterways of Cooum and Adyar and the Buckingham Canal. Popularly regarded as the ‘Gateway to the South’, Chennai presents culture that is distinctly different from that of northern India. Music, dance and all other art forms of the South are cherished and nurtured in this city. Check in at hotel for 02 nights. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 08 CHENNAI

Breakfast. Half-day sightseeing tour of Chennai.
Today you will visit Kapaleeshwar Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Fort St. George, and National Art Gallery. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 09 CHENNAI
In time transfer to Chennai Airport to connect departure flight for onward destination.

Day 02 - New Delhi - Lucknow - Sravasti (B/L/D)
Early morning take Shatabdi Express to Lucknow at 6.15 a.m. Reach Lucknow at 12.30 p.m. After lunch depart for Sravasti by road (approx. 3 hrs). Visit theJetavana Gardens where the Buddha spent twenty four rainy seasons. At Sravasti, Buddha confounded his critics with a million-fold manifestation of himself seated on a thousand-petalled lotus, as fire and water emanated from his body. Also visit the Augulimala Cave & the Ananda Bodhi Tree. Overnight at Sravasti.

Day 03 - Sravasti - Lumbini (B/L/D)
Leave early in the morning for Lumbini which is about 7 hours away into Nepal. Stop for lunch at Siddharthanagar. Arrive Lumbini, visit the birth place of the Buddha. Your tour of Lumbini include the Lumbini Gardens, the Ashokan or Rummir pillar, the base relief image of Maya Devi, Puskarnim - the sacred poolsanctum of the birthplace of the Buddha. Day 04 - Lumbini - Khushinagar (B/L/D)
After early breakfast proceed to Kushinagar (5 hours). It is here that the Buddhapassed into Mahaparirvana. The Mahaparinirvana temple houses a recumbent figure of the Buddha brought from Mathura by the monk Haribala. Also visit the brick ruins of the Rambhar Stupa representing the Chaitya which was erected on the sacred grounds of the Buddha's cremation. Here you will also see the Indo-Japan-Sri Lanka Buddhist centres and temples of various other nations. Overnight at Kushinagar.

Day 05 - Khushinagar - Vaishali - Patna (B/L/D)
After breakfast proceed to Vaishali. Vaishali was the centre of the Buddhist Council congregation, held after 100 years of the Buddha's Mahaparinirvana. At Kolhua Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. Later, Emperor Ashoka erected a huge pillar to commemorate the spot of the last sermon. Proceed to Patna for your overnight stay

Day 06 - Patna - Rajgir - Nalanda - Bodhgaya (B/L/D)
After breakfast proceed to Rajgir, the site of great sanctity and significance for Buddhists. The Gridhakuta hill was the seat from where the Buddha delivered many of His sermons. It was here that the teachings of the Buddha were recorded in writing for the first time. An aerial ropeway takes pilgrims up the hill where the Japanese have built a beautiful Stupa. Visit Veluvana (Bamboo Garden), the Vulture's Peak, Sattapanni Cave (site of 1st Buddhist Council) and other Buddhist sites. Leave for Nalanda which holds the site of the oldestuniversities of the world.

It had twelve million books, ten thousand students, two thousand teachers and was a centre of great learning which reached its zenith between the 5th & 12th centuries AD. Both Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavira are said to have visited this place. Emperor Ashoka built a Vihara, while Emperor Harshvardhan donated a 26m high copper image of the Buddha. Emperor Kumar Gupta on the other hand built a college of fine arts at Nalanda. Arrive at the holy city of Bodhgaya by evening for your next destination on your pilgrimage.

Day 07 - Bodhgaya (B/L/D)
Bodhgaya is the most important Buddhist pilgrimage centre where Lord Buddha attained spiritual birth. Visit the magnificent Mahabodhi Temple, the giant Bodhi tree which is believed to have grown from the original Bodhi tree where the Buddha attained Nirvana. Also visit the Chankarama, the Jewel-walk where Buddha strolled while in deep thought as well other temples and monasteries erected in this holy city by Buddhists from across the world

Day 08 - Bodhgaya - Sarnath - Varanasi (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast proceed to Varanasi, one of the holiest and fascinating cities in the East (6 hours). Visit Saranath. The Dhamek Stupa here marks the spot of the Buddha's first sermon after enlightenment at this deer park. The museum with a remarkable statue of the Buddha setting the Wheel of Law in motion is another item of interest. Also visit the Mulagandha Kutir Temple. Saranath's hallmark is its tranquility. Return to Varanasi by evening for your overnight stay.

Day 09 - Varanasi - Agra (B/L/D)
Proceed on an early morning cruise on the River Ganges to see the sunrise and bathing ghats. Free for own activities or visit temples and monasteries. In the evening you will be transferred to the railway to board your overnight express train to Agra. Departure 22:30

Day 10 - Agra (B/L/D)
Arrive tundla Railway station early morning & drive to Agra. After Lunch proceed to the world famous monument of love known as Taj Mahal,one of the 7 Wonders in the World & evening visit Agra fort. Overnight stay.

Day 11 - Agra - New Delhi (B/L)
After breakfast drive to delhi & visit lotus temple,drive pass of President house,Parliment house,India gate.After Dinner transfer to International Airport
