DAY
01 : TRIVANDRUM – KOVALAM
Arrival at Trivandrum. You will be greeted and assisted
at the Airport by GITC representative and transferred
to Kovalam. Located 16 kms from Trivandrum, Kovalam,
one of Kerala’s most popular beaches is the perfect
place for a seaside holiday. Check in at hotel for 01
night. Rest of the day at leisure.

02 : KOVALAM – ALLEPPEY [176 kms/ 4 hrs]
Breakfast. Check out and drive to Alleppey, often called
‘Venice of the East’. The town’s commercial
centre lives in a maze of canals. On arrival, embark
on a Houseboat for an overnight cruise upto Kumarakom
through the scenic backwaters of Kerala. All meals on
board.

03 : KUMARAKOM
Breakfast. Disembark at Kumarakom and check in at a
resort for 02 nights. A beautiful destination of mangroves
forest, green paddy fields & coconut groves interspersed
with enchanting waterways, Kumarakom is a cluster of
little islands situated on Vembanad Lake. Rest of the

Breakfast. Forenoon, take a stroll to the bird sanctuary.
This sanctuary is an ornithologist’s paradise

one of the well known wildlife sanctuaries of South

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Fort Cochin covering Jewish
Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace and Chinese

08 : COCHIN - COIMBATORE [214 kms/ 5 hrs]
Breakfast. Check out and drive to Coimbatore which is
popularly referred to as the Manchester or Detroit of
the South for its textile manufacturing and engineering

09 : COIMBATORE - METTUPALAYAM - OOTY
[30 kms/ 1 hr + 4 hrs]
Morning (0600 hrs), drive to Mettupalayam Railway station
to catch Toy Train to Ooty. This smart little hill train
chugs up daily to Ooty from Mettupalayam covering plantations,
tea garden, lush forest and pretty little stations on
its four hour climb to Ooty. Check in at hotel for 02

silk, sandalwood and jasmine.

13 : MYSORE - HASSAN

Breakfast. Check out and drive to Hassan. En route visit
Shravanbelagola, famous for the world’s tallest
monolithic statue of Jain Monk - Bahubali. Check in

Halebid. Belur, known as the Southern Banaras is famous
for the temple of Chennakeshava. Halebid, known as Dwara
Samudra, has several strikingly beautiful Hoysala temples
